Download: Domains of Business Agility
Corporate agility is on everyone's lips. Many have realised how little effect agile development teams have on the whole company. Only when all parts of an organisation work together unbureaucratically for a customer-oriented result will the effect be great for the company. Only then is the probability of a longer existence higher. The reaction to sudden unforeseen events can be much faster and with greater effect. Constant joint renewal is given targeted space. This corresponds to true antifragility - becoming more stable as well as better through doing and setbacks (planned or unplanned).
We base our offers on the work of the Business Agility Institute and break down strategic domains into manageable practical fields. This gives you concrete insights into potential fields where you can share and decide on the level and timing of activities. In doing so, we focus on a few, very essential topics. Through our basic workshops, you can determine your status and your desired need for action. Based on the jointly developed results and our recommendations, you can decide which way forward you want to go. This approach is suitable for EVERY company size and fits your needs like a tailor-made suit.
Domains
Operational Agility
Goals
We support you with a systematic approach to concretise your development fields in a segment of corporate agility. This evaluation of the thematic fields is a huge leverage effect for the systematic identification of potentials and further development of your corporate agility.
Content
In a mix of some mental preparation and a workshop, you will develop an analysis of the states of your operational agility on various complementary topics. We will guide you towards content delimitation, sustainable dialogue and a playful approach, which will help you to gain new clarity.
Outcomes
Vague surface becomes attackable depth. Coordinated with your colleagues and guided by us, you receive an action plan. You distinguish what you are able to implement yourself and where you want to request support.
This valid basis for decision-making can be used repeatedly. Further developments thus become dynamically lanable - even over longer periods of time - measurable and thus traceable.
Procedure
Based on a simulation that has been tried and tested worldwide for years, we have developed an additional application. This can be carried out virtually or on-site in half a day.
In dialogue, you recognise correlations and often unknown details.
This supports you in choosing the next evolutionary steps. Through the cooperation and the coordinated views, you get the necessary commitment for any further course of action.
Practical example
In this video you can see the application of the system itself and that together with the inventor from the UK. Together we presented some dynamics (= a topic in focus) and the approach at a conference.
For the application of operational agility there is a completely new dynamic that I created. The whole procedure of the simulation 'Navigation of Collaboration'is ideal as a basis.
As you can see, this system is very flexible and our creativity in generating further topics is very high. Further fields of application are welcome.
Systematic development
KMM-Practice
Many people have already dealt with the application of agile approaches in their professional context. A lot of experience has been gained. Likes and dislikes have developed. Details including set screws have been recognized.
The trend towards company-wide agility is intensifying. Many have recognized the benefits of this approach as a market advantage and feel happier to reduce administration and use this time to create great services with amazing products.
In spite of all these immense steps into further development, we keep hearing the question whether it would be "agile" enough -in other words, what has been done would be enough. And then, as it were, to move on to the next item on the checklist. Here the application is a CONTINUOUS systemic development (also with rejection reactions).
As a structured signpost for various target states, David Anderson created the Kanban Maturity Model together with Theodora Bozheva.
Our training series uses this great template and shows you in 4 modules great potentials to climb the next meaningful levels. All 4 modules are available either individually online or face to face compactly in one day. Whether and in which order you consume the 3 advanced modules is entirely up to you. This brings us straight to a key point: we guide you to all the treasures. We also support you in recovering and adapting them for your purpose. We will never offer you only step-by-step instructions for this. Create your own systems with your ideas!
Especially these times show again how important it is to show good results, have some reserves and be adaptable.
Basic module:
Sense, benefit, approach
The basic module provides you with an initial overview, shows you the sense, benefits and basic approach and offers initial opportunities for a deeper look.
You walk with us through all levels, get to know the structure, discover typical results and see influencing factors such as culture and leadership.
After studying this basic module you will know what there is and what effects are possible. You will put these insights around your company and receive first indicators, which is of higher importance for you
Advanced module:
Orientation & Results
The Orientation & Results module focuses on the profane facts. Together we dive into the depths of the feasible results per level and consider the appropriate measurement approaches to obtain them. We pay special attention to the constant repeatability of the system performance for your company.
Advanced module:
Stability & Growth
With the Stability & Growth module we open the dialogue of contradiction. We discuss the feasibility of growth with stable behaviour and exchange views on the extent to which growth presupposes stability. What do the terms stability & growth mean to you? How do we create sufficient reserves for your company to move forward thanks to the various services?
Advanced module:
Protection & systematic further development
Security is a basic aspiration of many people. Security means sufficient buffer to compensate for instabilities. How can we create such buffers? Do we create a sluggish system as a side-effect or is it feasible to advance simultaneously to further development. If so, how? Along which path? We address all of this in the module Protection & systematic development?

F4P-Practice
- Design (What?)
- Implementierung (How?)
- Lieferung (consumption experience)
Only if all three components described at the beginning of this chapter are sufficiently satisfactory for the customer, the service is considered 'fit for purpose'.
It is often unclear what actual fitness criteria are (of which there are often far too many) and how this can be meaningfully handled.F4P shows us how few of them are 'real' fitness criteria and how to deal with measurement criteria in a meaningful way.
F4P supports and sharpens the alignment of your services with skilfully simple and effective approaches. This method can be used wherever goals and purpose are of interest.
The workshops use German language material and posters, which are provided. The implementation is done on an interactive canvas.
Basic Module:

#F4P - Practice
#F4P for Kanban
In this workshop we will first look at the basics and then systematically work our way through the posters to the practical applications for your field of application.
When applying this in the Kanban world, we look at the upstream and downstream area and the impact on decisions for work to be implemented. For systematic integration, you will get tips on how to implement or appropriately extend the purpose for each level of a Kanban system, where and when to evaluate it and how, and how to realign your metrics.
After participating in this basic module, you will receive practical knowledge on F4P and adept guidance on how to apply it with Kanban and/or approaches to other methods.

#F4P & Metriken
Your most sophisticated applications will only be highly effective if you understand how people react with what kind of behaviour to what kind of goals or research measurements. Often you unconsciously create totally inverse behaviour than desired and wonder why.
Equally relevant is the interaction with OKRs or vice versa, what F4P can or should do for those. The suggestions go so far as to save you a lot of time in combined application and create greater effect.
